  • Base coats are then precisely applied, creating a smooth and even foundation for the masterpiece to unfold.
  • With a steady hand and a keen eye for detail, the craftsmen then meticulously hand-paint gold detailing and scenic artistry, a process that takes many hours.
  • Having established this, carved mother of pearl sculptures are then carefully set onto the surface to compliment the chosen theme and hand-painted scenes.
  • With the artwork complete, several layers of natural lacquer are applied to create a protective coat and enhance both the vibrant colours and shimmering pearl.
