Do the items come assembled?

Yes – The majority of our handcrafted furniture pieces will arrive fully assembled, ready to grace your home. There are only a few styles where minor assembly is required.

Can I use normal furniture polish on these products?

Our Chinese furniture pieces are traditionally highly lacquered and built to last, making them easy to care for – Normal household furniture polish is more than enough to keep your furniture looking its best.

Do you offer a money-back guarantee?

Yes – If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee.

Is China Warehouse Direct based in the UK?

Yes – Although the majority of our products are traditionally handmade abroad, we are a British company through and through. Everything you find in our range is held in the UK and shipped from the UK, giving you access to centuries-old traditions of craftsmanship without the shipping costs or oblique processes you'd normally need to get your hands on them.

What's your lead time on items?

For stock items we can turn around orders for small furniture items within days. Larger items like cabinets or sideboards can take up to 21 days, however this is dependant on location and delivery requirements. For items not listed as stock, please contact us for lead times.

Can I specify a date for delivery?

We will do our utmost to meet any specific delivery requirements and will strive to ensure the delivery process is as smooth as possible.

How will my item be delivered?

The delivery method depends on the size and weight of your chosen item. Smaller to medium-sized parcels will typically be delivered via courier, while larger furniture pieces will be delivered either by specialist delivery companies or on a pallet to your curb side for each offloading.
